twentyseventhllc@gmail.comOpen Walks and tap the primary start button on the home screen. Walks uses your location and microphone (optional) while active. Tap stop to save the walk to your journal.
Walks records GPS in the background. If you force-quit the app, lose signal for an extended period, or deny Always-On location permission, sections of your route may be missing. Re-enable background location in iOS Settings → Walks → Location → Always.
Subscriptions are handled by Apple. On your iPhone, go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Walks to change, pause, or cancel. You can also open the Walks app and tap Manage Subscription in Settings.
Force-quit and reopen Walks, then pull to refresh on the paywall screen. If it still doesn't unlock, email us at the address above with your Apple receipt — we'll sort it immediately.
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and select the Walks purchase.
Walk data (route, audio, notes) is stored locally on your device and synced privately to your iCloud account. We don't operate servers that hold your data.
Export is on the roadmap. If you need your data today, email us and we'll help.
